WHAT I WORE, WHAT MUMMY WORE

my own space - at last!

so this week i got to move into my own room! i am so happy, soon i'll be able to ban her from it! but for now i am putting my mummy through her paces. she can't just have it easy all the way!

night 1: i relaxed in the cot whilst mummy was there. when she left i screamed like i did the day i arrived on this earth. she came and sat in for a good hour. sleep got the better of me but when she tried to tuck me in - bam! i woke up. she caved and i got to have a nice snuggly night with mummy!

night 2: undeterred mummy tried again and this time i decided to cut her some slack and stay put. however i ensured she came in frequently - every hour and a half from 8 till 4 in the morning! by 4 she was shattered and she just took me to her room! we woke up at midday!

night 3: i felt sorry for mummy so i did the same thing as the night before - but only till midnight. at midnight i then slept right through till 5. then woke up to do my usual early morning 1 hour singing session. mummy promptly picked me from my room and decided to snuggle with me in her room instead of listening to me on the monitor!

does this look like the face of someone who gets up to mischief? never!

well, i'll keep you posted on the progress! mummy highly recommends this Angelcare monitor for when baby is finally given some freedom! its fantastic as it monitors my movement and singing and an alarm rings if nothing is detected for 20 seconds. It is cheapest on amazon.com for £74.99 but mothercare will price match instore.

I've got the mooooooooooves like Jagger!

the last few weeks have been quite eventful. i got a viral infection which i successfully passed on to my mum, who in turn passed it on to my dad. i think we've got sharing down to a 'T' in this house. as a result we've definitely been all over the place in terms of knowing if we are coming or going.

so mummy has been looking after me and surfing the internet like her life depends on it. filling baskets to the brim on all her favourite sites knowing fully well she cant buy anything there. sigh.

neither mummy nor i remember where we were going when i wore this outfit! it was before the coma inducing virus we all had. wherever we were off to, i was definitely excited. i was practising my moves which mummy caught on camera.

i'll try not to stay away for so long! mummy and i are 100% better and will definitely be posting more frequently. right! back to my moves!

so there we were strolling through town, window shopping, when mummy suddenly stopped at a shop window - transfixed. daddy tried to act like he hadn't noticed but mummy is apparently well versed in these avoidance tactics so called out in the sweetest voice: 'oh babe, come and see... something for you!'

apparently both her voice and the statement were irresistable and daddy was there like a flash. she briefly pointed at some watch or other for men, and then exclaimed 'wow! look at that watch. that would look amazing with everything i own. everything.'

daddy nearly dropped me as he saw the price tag. 'what?! no matter how rich we get i'd never spend that on a watch.' when we got back to the car mummy smiled at me and said 'thats what he said about the mulberry bag. one day he'll want another child, i'll be ready.'

she consoled herself with this spotty cardi which was promptly worn the next day back to front!

unfortunately mummy leaned on that wall whilst striking a post so the images of the back look like a builder slapped her butt as she was walking past. we'll post some the next time she wears it - rest assured there'll be plenty!

i'm now big enough to fit into another one of my pretty purple dresses! this one was bought for me by my aunty vee. she and mummy have been friends since they were 3! i bet she could tell me a story or two..

have a rosy new year!

so...the year that i will turn 1 has arrived! mummy is really excited. i can see her staring blankly into space - thinking she finally has an excuse to throw a party at daddy's expense.

on new years eve we went to a house party and i got to watch some fireworks on tv. i had fun bouncing up and down on mummy's lap - i refused to sleep till 2am! hey - i don't want anyone telling me what went down when i can be seeing it for myself!
